You might still be in school and thinking about your future or already in work and dreaming of doing a degree. Either way, it doesn't matter. As long as you have charisma, drive and entrepreneurial flair then we want to hear from you whether you're 18 or 58.
You'll also:
- be keen to develop a career in retail or, more specifically, the financial services sector
- have good A-Levels or equivalent
- appreciate the value of excellent customer service
- be meticulous with detail
- have at least a smattering of work experience
- show the potential to lead and inspire a team
- be able to prove you have the right to live and work in the UK.

Employment contract
Complete your degree successfully and you'll be agreeing to take up a position at Barclays when you graduate. If you leave Barclays within three years of graduating, we'll expect you to repay a portion of the sponsorship money. This is how it works.
- Leave within one year, repay £6,000
- Leave within two years, repay £4,000
- Leave within three years, repay £2,000
